Second Case Highlighting the Importance of a Comprehensive and Individualized Approach: A 69-year-old patient presented to his personal physician with symptoms such as easy fatigue, shortness of breath, and swelling in the lower extremities. After evaluation by his personal physician, it was recommended that he be examined by a cardiologist to confirm the diagnosis of heart failure, which seemed the most likely diagnosis.

In our cardiology center, after a detailed examination of the patient with the most modern means, no signs were found to indicate heart failure. Therefore, we proceeded to ultrasound imaging of the lungs, during which an area was identified in the left upper part of the lung that indicated the presence of a neoplastic process. This led us to a CT scan of the lungs, which confirmed our diagnosis of neoplasia. The localized area required immediate oncological treatment.

Thus, instead of making pointless diagnostic approaches, we arrived at the correct diagnosis, and the patient now receives the necessary treatment under the guidance of a specialist oncologist. This process enabled prompt and efficient delivery of the appropriate treatment for the patient, limiting any unnecessary delays and further disruption that could have negative consequences for the patient.
