Dr Zacharias Kounnis, a distinguished graduate of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens and a postgraduate of the Medical Institute of Education of the Massachusetts Medical Society, has specialised in and dedicated his career to cardiology. An active member of the global medical community, he regularly attends conferences and closely follows the latest developments in cardiology, while he focuses on keeping his skills and knowledge up to date as to provide a high-quality experience to his patients, modern medical services, more accurate diagnosis and more effective prognosis.

In his many years of medical practice, Dr Zacharias Kounnis has worked both in Greece and abroad, in all areas and disciplines of cardiology. He places particular emphasis on modern prevention and medical treatments, incorporating in his practice the scientific breakthroughs and technological advancements of the global cardiology community.

In 2003, he opened the Zacharias Kounnis Cardiology Center in Limassol and has been ever since in direct contact with the European and American Heart Association, channeling his experience and expertise into the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases so that his patients can lead a heart-healthy life.

Since 2017, Dr Zacharias Kounnis has also been associated with the Cardiology Department of the Medical University of Vienna as part of his continuing education in the field of cardiology.
